The truth always comes to light! Caroline Manzo basically alluded that Joe Gorga *allegedly* played a role in Joe and Teresa Giudice going to prison during a live taping of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast on Thursday.
Caroline Mazno maintains that she did not call the FBI on Teresa and Joe Giudice but says she knows who did.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG said:
“I know who did. PS, I was there.”
Her daughter, Lauren Manzo, interjected:
“But we’ll never say who it was.”
She also added:
“It’s all in the press. All about the reunion.”
This comment from Lauren got everyone believing that Caroline was implying Joe Gogrga called the FBI on Teresa and Joe Giudice.
Caroline said that she saw what was going down and ultimately “took the fall” because “I am not [a rat].”
“It’s not even about being a rat,” she explained. “There’s this thing called collateral damage. So, when you say something, who’s going to hurt? Who is this going to hurt by saying this truth?”
She continued:
“You can believe whatever you like about me. I know I never did — I could never do that. But if blaming me makes you feel better, OK, then your reality. It’s not going to change my day.”

Ultimately, Caroline let people believe she was behind the call to the FBI in order “to protect people that didn’t deserve the collateral damage and the fallout once it comes out.”
As longtime RHONJ fans know, Teresa previously accused Caroline Manzo of calling the FBI on her and her ex-husband after she predicted Joe Giudice would go to prison.
Teresa and Joe Giudice were convicted of fraud in 2014. Teresa served 11 months in prison before being released in December 2015. Joe spent three years behind bars before being deported to Italy in 2019.
Fast forward to 2023, and we are now closer to learning the truth about who really called the FBI on Joe and Teresa Giudice.
At the RHONJ season 13 reunion, Teresa reveals that Jacqueline Laurita told her that Joe Gorga was in contact with Joe Giudice’s ex-business partner, who was suing Joe and Teresa at the time.
In April, a source close to RHONJ told AllAboutTRH EXCLUSIVELY:
“The reunion was chaotic. There was a point that Jacqueline Laurita gets brought it and Teresa Giudice reveals that Jacqueline told her that Joe Gorga would speak to Joe Giudices ex partner and he is part of the reason that Joe Giudice went to jail. Jacqueline had confirmed to Teresa when they reunited that Joe Gorga spoke to Joe Giudice’s business partner who was suing Teresa and Joe Giudice at the time. Andy had asked Teresa if she believed what Jacqueline was saying. Teresa told Andy that she did because her brother hated Joe and that maybe he didn’t mean to hurt Teresa but he hated Joe and that’s why he did it.”
Joe denied the allegation, but Teresa pointed out that Jacqueline Laurita had told her that both Melissa and Joe Gorga would tell them all about Teresa’s legal troubles behind her back. Joe Gorga insisted that he actually always loved Joe Giudice.
UPDATE: Lauren is now denying that she or her mom implied that Joe Gorga called the FBI on Joe and Teresa.
On TikTok, Lauren wrote:
“To be fair, I never said it was what that article says & love the Gorgas. Never once implied it was them.”
