Buckle up Bravo fans because the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 reunion will be quite a “doozy.”
Bravo fans can’t wait to watch the Real Housewives of New Jersey rehash all their season 13 drama on the reunion couches. The highly anticipated reunion is set to be one of the craziest and most dramatic sit downs in the franchise’s history.
Let’s breakdown everything we know about the RHONJ season 13 reunion.
When and where was the season 13 reunion filmed?
The RHONJ cast and Andy Cohen gathered in New York City on Thursday, April 20 to film the much-anticipated reunion. Filming was a long and tedious. After spending three-to-five hours in makeup and hair, the Housewives started rehashing the season then had lunch break before returning to film the reunion. Filming for the season 13 reunion didn’t end until 9:30 pm.
When will the season 13 reunion air?
Bravo hasn’t officially announced when the season 13 reunion will air but insiders expect it to air in mid-to-late May. AllAboutTRH is hearing around Memorial Day.
What went down at the reunion?
Reunion host Andy Cohen kept RHONJ fans abreast of what was going down at the reunion with various updates throughout the day.
In one clip, Teresa Giudice admitted she was “nervous” but was “feeling better.”
“Yeah, your heart was beating so fast … I felt it,” Andy told the RHONJ OG.
He then turned to Melissa Gorga to see how she was doing.
“I’m doing good. I actually just found some receipts in my phone,” Melissa admitted.
Andy’s first clip confirmed that both Teresa and Melissa were sitting first chair on their respective couches at the reunion.
Later on around 6:30pm, Andy gave Bravo fans another update as they were bringing the husbands out to film.
“It’s 6:30 [p.m.] We’re about to bring the husbands out … all at the same time. This actually is one of the crazier [reunions]. I know you guys think I overhype everything, but I actually am worried that I’m gonna have to get in between some people. I don’t like that.”
What does the RHONJ cast have to say about the reunion?
Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Rachel Fuda and Danielle Cabral remained tightlipped ahead of the reunion but Melissa and Teresa had quite a bit to say.
On WWHL, Melissa told Andy, “I’m gonna sleep the day before, I decided … I want to sleep the whole day. I haven’t felt like I needed to have receipts in a very long time, but I feel like there’s a lot of accusations that aren’t true. There’s a lot of twists and turns. And they haven’t done that in a while. I need to prove a lot, which I’m so upset about.”
Then just days before the reunion Melissa said she was looking forward to “pressing reset” at the reunion during an episode of her On Display podcast.
Melissa said:
“I do hate the reunion. I dread it, but I also love the fact that you get to press reset with your relationships and reset on like what’s going on and like start a new fresh year that is gonna come and it’s just, or a new fresh season. No, I should say reunion.”
Meanwhile, Teresa posted the quote, “Don’t let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.”
After the reunion wrapped filming, Jennifer Aydin took to her Instagram Story and called the reunion a “doozy” while grabbing pizza at her favorite spot in New York City.
“I’m so hungry and I’m exhausted. The reunion was a doozy. Folks. That was the most stressful thing I think I’ve ever been through. Like for real. I just done with it and I’m getting my annual pizza fix pizza.”
Teresa, on the other hand, went out to dinner with Dolores, Danielle, and their men.
The morning after the reunion the RHONJ OG posted the quote:
“When the wrong people leave your life, the right things start to happen.”
RHONJ airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
