Pump Rules star Tom Sandoval reveals that he can’t afford to move out of the $2M home he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix.
If you have been wondering why Tom hasn’t moved out of the Valley Village home he purchased with Ariana in 2019, we are now learning the truth behind this conundrum.
Bravo fans expected Tom to swiftly move out of the home he and Ariana share after the news of his seven-month-long affair with Raquel Levis became public knowledge; however, now the disgraced Bravoleb explains that he can’t afford to move out.
“I don’t have a lot of friends I can stay with right now. … I kind of run the house,” the 40-year-old revealed on the Tuesday, April 11, episode of the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast. “I handle the gardening [and] the housekeeping. My assistant comes and cleans and stocks everything. I basically run everything in the house.”
“[Ariana’s] in the house. This is a big house,” Tom said of the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home.
. For now, the exes communicate via text and avoid each other at all costs.
“We have a go-between. We text when we’re coming and going,” Tom explains, adding that “initially,” his interactions with Ariana after their split weren’t great, so he “had to stay away.” He notes that he spends most of his time in the former couple’s home gym or his bedroom.
Ariana’s longtime BFF, Scheana Shay, confirmed on the April 7 episode of her Scheananigans podcast that Tom is being much more respectful of Ariana than he was during the early days of the breakup.
“He’s trying to be more respectful of her, I think,” Scheana explained. “But in the beginning, it was like, ‘This is my house! I pay half the mortgage, I’m gonna come and go as I please. And it’s just like, ‘Bro, you just blew up her world. The least you can do is give her some f–king space.’ It’s called a hotel!”
As for the future plans for Tom and Ariana’s house, Tom hints that they are planning to sell the home but have not put it on the market just yet.
“The house is not listed yet, no,” Tom said. “[Ariana’s] really busy right now, she’s obviously blowing up. I’m really happy to see that. I’ve been busy as well trying to get things together.”
