Melissa Gorga was on full display during Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live. The RHONJ star found herself in the hot seat while addressing the recent drama on the show, and let’s just say she couldn’t take the heat! Things got pretty intense during Melissa and Andy Cohen, so much so that the Bravolebrity accused the WWHL host of being “very rough” on her.
Mid-way through Tuesday’s episode of WWHL, Melissa told Andy:
“Margaret Josephs just texted me and said you’re being very rough on me tonight. She said, ‘Oof, Andy’s killing you tonight.’”
Melissa then asked Andy:
“Why are you being mean to me?”
When asked about the allegation that she cheated on her husband, Joe Gorga, with a family friend, both Joe, and Melissa scoffed at the gossip. Melissa claims the rumor is old news.
“It’s a game of telephone on a baseless rumor that they said they heard five years ago, but they’re bringing to light now. I mean, are you kidding me?”
As for why she’s still friends with Margaret, whose former best friend, Laura Lee Jensen, revealed the cheating rumor to members of the RHONJ cast.
Melissa quipped:
“Because it’s untrue. This is a woman who wants to be on the [RHONJ], who auditioned three times and didn’t make it.”
The conversation later moved to the upcoming RHONJ reunion, which is set to film next week.
Melissa admitted that the reunion is going to be “scary.”
“I’m gonna sleep the day before … I wanna be very prepared. I wanna have my receipts this time because I haven’t felt like I need to have receipts in a very long time, but I feel like there’s a lot of accusations that aren’t true … I need to prove a lot, which I’m so upset about.”
“I have all my answers. Are you ready to go now? I wanna go tonight. I got my dress hanging,” she added.
Andy noted that he’s wondering “how deep” to go at the reunion since Melissa, Joe, and Teresa Giudice seem “done” with each other after their most recent fallout.
“You all seem complete in your resolution to move on from each other,” Andy pointed out. “I don’t feel like I’m going to get any resolution out of the reunion.”
However, Joe disagreed, telling Andy to “go deep” at the reunion.
He added:
“It’s never done. It’s family, bro.”
While Joe might not be “done” with Teresa, it seems his wife is. Melissa revealed that she’s relieved and liberated by her latest fallout with Teresa.
“It’s such a relief because all I wanted to do was please and be accepted by the family.”
Meanwhile, Bravo fans had quite a bit to say about Melissa’s appearance on WWHL. Fans called out Melissa and Andy for the “testy” and “aggressive” exchanges on Tuesday’s episode.
