Real Housewives of New Jersey star Rachel Fuda’s husband John Fuda has been accused of changing his last name to his mother’s maiden name so that people knew he was ‘successful’ and ‘rich’ in town.
Rachel and John Fuda have both appeared on season 13 of Bravo’s popular hit show and ever since appearing – a rumor has came out that John Fuda felt the need to change his last name to come off “rich.”
John, 35, real name is Jonathan D’Atria.
Several sources from John & Rachel’s town gave us exclusive tea telling AllAboutTRH, “John’s family has an established Tile shop in Bergen County – New Jersey. John was a manager at Fuda Tile and his brother is the actual owner of that store.”
Our insider says,
“John changed his name years ago, because he felt everyone knew the Fuda last name and he associated it with being rich and he essentially wanted others to know that he was the owner. In reality, his brother, Anthony D’Atria is the owner and Anthony never changed his last name.”
Other sources have told us that it always bothered John that he had his fathers last name because no one knew he had affiliation established to the well known tile shop.
An additional source revealed,
“Rachel even pushed John to change his last name so that she would have that last name as well. You never hear about an Italian guy from here changing their last name to their mothers and he did that for clout. It’s just weird.”
Another insider added,
“John and Rachel Fuda really care what people think of them. They are obsessed with image and want to look like they have the perfect world. Rachel changed her entire look for the show. And John recently had undergone surgery weeks ago after not liking how he looked on the show. They’ve also been wanting to get on the Real Housewives for some time.”
John’s parents are divorced and his father John D’Atria lives in Sarosta, Florida. Although John doesn’t own the tile shop, he is the sole proprietor of Valet King, LLC. John founded Valet King in 2013 and expanded into concierge, Receptionist services, and car detailing.
Rachel Fuda was also said to be a big fan of the show even creating an instagram account with the handle being @BravoLover1234 but changed her name once she was officially cast.
We reached out to John Fuda for comment and he politely declined stating he will address at the reunion.
