Lisa Rinna Clarifies Comments About Family Reality TV Show Following RHOBH Exit

Shutting down the rumor mill. Lisa Rinna is clarifying her previous comments about doing a Kardashian-style family reality TV show following her exit from RHOBH earlier this year.

Rinna is clearing the air when it comes to speculation that her family has a reality TV show in the works.

“That’s not true. None of that’s true,” the RHOBH alum reveals on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “I don’t know where somebody got that.”

The 59-year-old teases that she may revisit the idea of a family reality show in the future.

“Listen, I never say no to anything, so I would never say, ‘I will never do something.’ But that is not true.”

Rumors of a Hamlin family reality TV show began to swirl back in January shortly after Rinna’s exit from RHOBH.

The Sun reported that Rinna’s new goal is to become the ultimate Momager and take over the reins from mogul Kris Kardashian.

“The goal is for Lisa and her family to lock something down by May, and it’s going to be interesting to see if Bravo steps up and develops a new show for Lisa or if she pivots into streaming the way the Kardashians have,” the insider notes.

“Stepping on other people’s toes is the last thing she’s worried about, and nobody is positioned better to be a successor to Kris and that franchise than Lisa and her family,” the source continues. “Let’s see if she can pull this off!”

Rinna further fueled this rumor while doing an interview with CR Fashion Book in March.

“Never say never,” Rinna said, adding, “I love fame. I think it’s the greatest thing.”

She also promised that if her family’s reality TV show gets green-lit by a network it would be a worthwhile watch for fans.

“Drama is what the shows are about,” she said. “If you don’t talk about the elephant in the room, then what are we talking about, my yoga class? What I had for breakfast? No one wants to watch that.”

However, Rinna now claims that her family just doesn’t have time to do a reality TV show at the moment, noting that all four members of the Hamlin family are booked and busy.

“My family’s really busy right now. I’m not sure I could even get anybody to do a show with me,” she notes. “They’re all working so much and so busy that I’m not sure we could even be in the same place to do a show, which is great.”

Speaking of being busy, Rinna also opened up about her oldest daughter, Delilah Belle Hamlin‘s budding music career.

“She’s always had a great voice. It’s not something that anybody has really known, and we’ve always known it,” she says of her 24-year-old daughter. “I’m so happy that she’s doing something with it and finally releasing a song, and she did her own video. She did all of it on her own with her own people.”

RHOBH is expected to return for season 13 in late 2023 or early 2024.
