Unveiling the Suspect Relationship Between Porsha Williams and Her Husband

Calling it like she sees it! RHUGT viewers were shocked to see Candiace Dillard question Porsha Williams over the origin of her relationship with husband Simon Guobadia only hours into their trip to Thailand.

Now, months later, the Real Housewives of Potomac star is still skeptical over how Simon and Porsha’s relationship started.

“They had a beautiful wedding,” Candiace said on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.

“But it was definitely a little sketch how they got together, for sure,” she adds.

On the first episode of season 3 of RHUGT, Candiace questioned Porsha over her relationship with Simon, which shocked fans and the other Housewives on the trip especially because the two just met each other.

“The streets said that you dated him and he was married to her,” Candiace said, referencing Porsha’s former friends and Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Falynn Pina.

Falynn was married to Simon when she appeared on season 13 of RHOA as a friend of the Housewives.

Many Bravo fans believe that Porsha stole her friend’s man while they were still married. However, Simon and Falynn were separated when he began to pursuing Porsha romantically.

“So, what actually happened was I’m on a show and they told me, ‘We’re going to bring in a new wife.’ When I met [Pina] and her husband, I didn’t really place him at the moment but I knew him already,” the 41-year-old explained. “Fast-forward it just didn’t work out for her and she left.”

Candiace teases that Bravo fans are not “going to be satisfied” with Porsha’s explanation.

“It was a PR answer and, at this point, I guess it doesn’t matter because they’re married and they look happy,” Candiace notes.

Porsha and Simon wed in November 2022 after getting in engaged May 2021 after only a month of dating.

However, she quickly points out that Falynn’s “credibility is kind of shot” considering she was accused of cheating on Simon with Jaylan Banks. Two months after Simon and Falynn’s split, the 34-year-old announced she was expecting a baby with Banks. She miscarried months later and two split a short time later.

“It’s like all these twists and turns and the timeline is just so short … She was with the guy and then now they’re not together, so what came first?” Canidace muses. “Chicken or the egg, we don’t know.”

When it comes to filming season 3 of RHUGT, Candiace admits she was happy to get to know Porsha despite their past beef.

“When Porsha was announced, I was excited because Porsha is obviously a great ‘Housewife,’” the singer admits, adding that she was a little hesitant because she wasn’t sure if producers would force them to discuss their past “beef.”

The two Housewives clashed several years ago amid Candiace’s on-screen drama with former RHOP co-star Monique Samuels during season 5.

“Contrary to popular belief, I don’t like eating people for lunch … it’s not my go-to,” she explains. “But I was like, ‘I don’t want to have to, like, get into it with her and end her life with my mouth.’”

Season 3 of RHUGT is currently airing on Peacock. New episodes drop every Thursday.
