She’s back! Mary Cosby, the renowned fashion icon, has returned to the spotlight with a bang. Her impeccable sense of style and trendsetting fashion choices have captivated audiences worldwide. Mary Cosby’s unique approach to blending classic elegance with modern flair has made her a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry. Whether she’s gracing the red carpet or attending high-profile events, Mary Cosby always manages to turn heads and leave a lasting impression. Welcome back, Mary Cosby!

Mary Cosby is officially returning to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after quitting the show following season two.

Queens of Bravo shared a clip on Instagram showing Mary filming for season 4 with the rest of the RHOSLC cast. In the clip, Mary is seen walking into a restaurant in Palm Springs with the other women of the franchise.

Mary was wearing black sunglasses and a hat as the group checked in and waited to be seated.

Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, and Angie Katsaneves are all returning for season 4, along with Mary. Also in the mix is a newbie name Monica. There may also be other additions to the cast, but only time will tell.

Naturally, fans are having mixed feelings about Mary’s return to RHOSLC.

“Ugh, bad call,” one fan wrote.

A second fan commented, “All those celebrating Mary coming back…did you forget her racist comments about Mexicans, Asians, black people? The accusations against her and her church? RHOSLC will still be boring with her in it; I just wonder the stance people supporting her now will make when she does something even more problematic on the next season.”

“Yaaaassssssss I’m elated Miss Mary is back,”  a third fan wrote.

“Wow, Bravo must be desperate. She did not face the hot seat at the reunion, and I thought if you don’t show up, they are out,” a fourth fan commented.

Another fan added: “Yes!! Now we can investigate her shady church, and she can go to jail next!! She’s the absolute worst.”

Just last month, Page Six teases Mary’s return, claiming that she “wanted to come back” after skipping out on season 3.

That same month, both Whitney and Heather both hinted at Mary’s return as well.

On her Wild Rose podcast, Whitney said she heard rumblings of “old faces coming back,” while Heather confirmed the rumors of Mary’s return were true, telling fans, “Yes. All of it, yes.”

Whitney also added that there is a “dynamic person joining who is going to ruffle some feathers.”

A source later told PEOPLE that it’s “not yet known” if Mary will be “a friend or a full-time cast member” for season 4.

The source notes, “It’s early in filming still, and casting decisions often shift as the months go on.”

Another insider says that Mary “is excited to be in the fold again, as are the women to have her return.”

“The ladies have said before the show was missing something without Mary last season,” the insider adds. “So there’s feeling among all that the magic is back.”

Mary’s return won’t come without controversy, as the preacher’s presence on the show has always caused a stir. Her controversial church, which some have dubbed a “cult,” will once again come under scrutiny, as will her marriage to her step-grandfather. Mary may also have to answer for the racially offensive comments she’s made during past seasons. During season two, Mary made several “reckless” and offensive comments about costars Jennie Nguyen and Jen Shah. She later apologized.

To be honest, despite all of the controversies surrounding Mary, it’s most surprising that Bravo is giving her another shot considering she skipped the season two reunion – a move that is usually the kiss of death for Housewives.

Mary skipped the season two reunion, claiming that the show is edited to be “one-sided.”

“I did not go to the reunion because I was not about to sit there and be beat up from one side of the story and of the narrative. They wanted me to go off at the reunion and answer all these one-sided questions that I didn’t even see coming, and I said, ‘I’m not doing it,’” Mary said during an interview with Brough Chat.

RHOSLC is expected to return for season 4 in mid-to-late 2023.

Will Mary Cosby’s Return to RHOSLC Bring More Controversy?

Mary Cosby is officially returning to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for season 4, along with Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsaneves, and a newbie named Monica.

Mary Cosby’s return to RHOSLC is not without controversy. Her controversial church, which some have called a “cult,” will once again come under scrutiny. Additionally, her marriage to her step-grandfather and racially offensive comments made during past seasons may also be addressed.

It is surprising that Bravo is giving Mary Cosby another chance considering she skipped the season two reunion, which is typically seen as a negative move for Housewives. Mary claimed that the show is edited to be “one-sided” and did not want to participate in a potentially biased questioning session.
