The drama between the Richards-Hilton family continues to linger on almost a year after the fallout between sisters Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Kyle reveals that she has not met her niece Paris Hilton’s son amid her ongoing tension with the heiress’ mom. As of last month, Kyle and her older sister Kathy had not spoken since they filmed the RHOBH season 12 reunion in October 2022. It’s unclear if that has since changed.
“I’ve not met him yet,” the Bravoleb told Access Hollywood at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party Sunday night. “I’ve only seen pictures, and he’s beautiful.”
The 54-year-old made sure to note that she did send the two-month-old a present when she learned of his birth.
“I got a gift from Tiffany’s. I did a fork and spoon and a little thing [where you keep] baby teeth when they come out,” she explained. “Just more classic. He’s gonna have everything in the world, so what do you get?”
Meanwhile, Paris tells Rolling Stone that she got her mom a Chanel purse to help lessen the news of her secret baby.
Paris explains that she and her husband Carter Reum, kept the news of their son Phoenix Barron Hilton-Reum a secret from everyone – including the heiress’ mom.
The 41-year-old said she tried to smooth over any possible anger by presenting her mom with a blue Chanel bag before introducing her to Phoenix.
“I was like, if I give her Chanel first, maybe she won’t be so upset that I didn’t tell her about this,” Paris said.
“I was holding the baby on my shoulder with a blanket over him, and then I just sat down. She’s like, ‘What is that?’ And I was like, ‘A baby … meet your grandson,’” Paris shared. “She’s like, ‘Is this yours?’ And she starts crying. She’s like, ‘Let me hold him. He’s the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen in my life. Oh, he’s so beautiful.’ She was just in tears.”
Paris welcomed Phoenix in January via surrogate. She kept his birth quiet and waited a week to announce the happy news.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in mid-to-late 2023.
