When Danielle Cabral joined the season 13 cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, not everyone welcomed her with open arms.
In a new interview with Bravo By Betches, the mom of two revealed that Jackie Goldschneider was the “least” welcoming cast member.
According to Danielle, she thought she and Jackie would hit it off with their Staten Island connection; however, that wasn’t the case.
“I think she was the one that was the least nicest to me and showed me who she was,” Danielle revealed.
She added: “I had nothing against her; she was like my Staten Island girl. I never got a good vibe from her.”
Meanwhile, we are now learning more about Danielle’s connection to RHONJ alums Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo, and Jacqueline Laurita.
During the premiere episode of season 13, it was revealed that Danielle’s stepmom was previously married to Caroline and Dina Manzo’s brother, Anthony Laurita.
Now, we are getting more clarification on Danielle’s connection to the Manzo/Laurita family.
After Danielle’s parents, Phillip and Angelica DiPietro, divorced in the early 2000s, Phillip married Cammy, Anthony Laurita’s ex-wife. Cammy and Anthony are the parents of Tony and Candice Laurita, who have appeared on RHONJ quite a bit due to their close relationship with the Manzo family. Candice also frequently appears on her cousin Albie Manzo’s Dear Albie podcast.
While Danielle isn’t directly related to the Manzo family, she does have strong connections to the family and seems to be almost like a step-niece to Caroline and Jacqueline.
Remember, it’s Jersey, so family is family, even if it’s complicated and doesn’t always make sense. Capish?
Danielle’s connection to Laurita/Manzo clan is even more interesting now that Teresa has reconciled with Jacqueline Laurita. It will be interesting to see if Jacqueline pops up on RHONJ or hang out with Teresa and Danielle in the future.
Danielle’s connection to the Manzo family could also open the door for Caroline’s return to RHONJ. Now, that would be interesting.
