Teresa Giudice will be “vindicated” during season 13 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, according to newbie Danielle Cabral.
“I can’t wait for this season to air because that is the No. 1 question,” the reality TV newbie said on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast when asked about the RHONJ OG’s alleged involvement in spreading the cheating rumors about Melissa Gorga.
“I connect wait for … that narrative to come out and for you guys to see what really happened,” she continues. “Because everybody’s got it wrong.”
As fans saw in the season 13 trailer, Jennifer Aydin claims Melissa has been unfaithful to her husband, Joe Gorga.
“He saw Melissa in the backseat, and she was making out with another guy,” Jennifer alleges in the trailer.
Danielle admits she was “upset” when she heard Jennifer’s allegation against Melissa but admits she wasn’t surprised by the gossip.
“I was like, ‘Dang!’ You don’t want to know certain things because then when you know certain things, you’re involved in certain things, and it just puts you in those situations you just wish you were never involved in,” she admits.
The blonde beauty says that she was upset by the position the rumor put her in since Jennifer’s allegation directly involved her in the drama.
“I think that’s what my realization was. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh my God,’” she said. “It was like, ‘Oh s—t, now I’m involved.’”
Danielle explains that she tried to be a merchant of peace between Teresa and the Gorgas; however, her efforts were unsuccessful.
“I tried to be that peacemaker in so many ways this season,” she insists.
The drama between Teresa and Melissa caused a fracture in the group, leaving her on Team Giudice and fellow newbie Rachel Fuda on Team Gorga.
Moving forward, Danielle hopes that she can salvage her growing friendship with Rachel.
“I hope [I can with] Rachel because, you know, what went down went down. It is what it is. But I feel like we have so many similarities, and our friendship was so pure in the beginning,” Danielle explains. “And I hope we get to a better place. I hope we take this out of being, like, Team A and Team B. Can we just be the new girls on the block and be friends with be cool with each other?”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns to Bravo for season 13 on February 7 at 9 p.m. EST.
