Heather Gay’s Shocking Revelation Unveils Jen Shah’s Guilty Plea

Heather Gay gave Bravo some insight into Jen Shah‘s guilty plea during part two of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 3 reunion. To start, Heather theorizes why Jen’s husband, Sharrieff Shah Sr., supported her last-minute plea deal. “For the financial strain, and it was just an uphill battle,” Heather told reunion host Andy Cohen. “And I have to assume it wasn’t something that he thought was worth rolling the dice [for]. Just some sort of smoking gun,” she noted. As for what that smoking gun was, Lisa Barlow claimed that she knew the truth. “It was a text or something that she had sent to Stu that basically incriminated her,” Lisa said, referencing Jen’s former assistant and co-conspirator, Stuart Smith. The Bad Mormon author then chimed in, “I don’t know the details, but I would assume it was some type of smoking gun that showed knowledge.” Then it was alleged that Jen and Sheriff may have asked their friends to help them pay Jen’s mounting legal bills. “I did not give them money, but I know people on this couch did,” Heather quipped before revealing that Angie Harrington, who starred as a“friend of” Housewives on RHOSLC, “gave [the Shahs] money.”
When it comes to Heather’s friendship with Jen, the Beauty Lab + Laser founder made it clear that she will be supporting Jen during her time behind bars. “She said she committed fraud, and she’s going to prison, and she’s making $15 million restitution, and I think me being mean to her or mad at her is just a virtue signal to the world and doesn’t do anybody good,” she said. “And I’m this far down the road with her; I’m not going to drop her now.” Jen is set to report to prison on February 17 to serve her six-and-a-half-year prison sentence. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.

Heather Gay speculates that Sharrieff Shah Sr. supported Jen’s plea deal due to the financial strain and the uphill battle they were facing. It is assumed that he did not think it was worth taking the risk and believed there was some sort of incriminating evidence against Jen.

According to Lisa Barlow, the smoking gun was a text or some form of communication that Jen had sent to Stuart Smith, her former assistant and co-conspirator. The exact details are unknown, but it is believed that this evidence showed Jen’s knowledge of the illegal activities.

While Heather Gay did not personally provide financial assistance, she revealed that Angie Harrington, who appeared as a “friend of” Housewives on RHOSLC, did give money to the Shahs. It is alleged that other friends on the show may have also helped them with their mounting legal expenses.
