He then notes that “Melissa’s story has changed a couple of times,” especially when she’s confronted with the truth. Carlos says that Melissa claims Teresa knew she and her husband, Joe Gorga, were joining RHONJ, then she switches her story to say that Teresa was aware that they were auditioning for the show.

It started when Melissa joined the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey without Teresa’s knowledge, leading to tension and conflicts between the two.
Melissa was upset with Heather McDonald, Carlos King, and Teresa Giudice because they promoted the false narrative that Melissa joined RHONJ behind Teresa’s back. Melissa claims that she informed Teresa about Bravo and RHONJ producers coming to her shore house for a casting interview.
Teresa called Melissa a liar because she believes that Melissa has changed her story multiple times. Initially, Melissa claimed that Teresa knew she and her husband were joining RHONJ, but later switched her story to say that Teresa was aware they were auditioning for the show. Teresa believes Melissa is trying to rewrite history.
