Jen Shah sealed her fate on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City when she decided to skip the season 3 reunion.
On Friday, rumors began to swirl that Jen was not attending the RHOSLC reunion as they filmed in New York City. A short time later, Jen released a statement on social media explaining why she would not appear at the reunion.
According to Jen, she was uninvited to the reunion in September; but was reinvited in late November. However, when Jen gave Bravo some parameters on subjects she would not discuss at the reunion, they were unhappy, to say the least.
Bravo pushed back, telling Jen she was expected to discuss her storyline at the reunion, which includes her legal case and sentencing. Jen claims that Bravo has little to no regard for her and her family amid her upcoming sentencing and that anything she says at the reunion could be used against her.
“On September 14, 2022, I was informed by Bravo executives that I was not invited to attend the Season 3 Reunion. I was disappointed because I would have no venue to confront inaccuracies and address my storyline with cast members,” Jen shared. “Out of nowhere, on November 29, two and a half weeks ago, I was invited to attend. I was elated to learn I would now have a voice at [the] reunion.”
“I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing. Bravo found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this “storyline.” That expectation has no regard for me or my family’s well-being, so under legal advice, I will not be attending [the] reunion. I need to focus on the most important thing in my life-my family,” she continued.
