Brandi Glanville: Navigating Richards’ Drama

Brandi Glanville knows all too well about the drama between the Richards sisters. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star found herself caught in the middle of Kyle Richards and Kim Richards’ family drama during the early years of the franchise.

Eventually, Brandi made peace with both sisters and found a best friend in Kim. However, Brandi recently found herself on the outs with Kim while remaining friendly with Kyle. It’s funny how the tides are always turning in the 90210.

Now, Brandi is opening up about her friendship fallout with Kim while also weighing in on Kyle’s recent drama with her oldest sister Kathy Hilton.

While appearing on Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast, Brandi revealed that she and Kim still aren’t speaking after a falling out in 2021.

“I love Kim. We are not talking still, but she’s like a sister to me,” Brandi admitted.

“During COVID, I took her to the emergency room and then… COVID was hard for everyone. We don’t get along all the time,” Brandi explained.

“We fight. She’s like a sister. We would get in fights. My kids loved her, but when she was mean to me, I was mean back, so I think she kinda just quit me,” she added.

Despite the hiccup in their friendship, Brandi is hopeful she and Kim will eventually reconcile.

“She knows I love her, and she knows I will never tell her secrets or share any of the sh-t we went through, and I do think she’ll come back around at a point, but I’m not gonna chase her down,” Brandi said.

Brandi also believes that Kyle and Kathy will mend fences after their fallout during season 12 of RHOBH.

“Blood is always thicker than water. The sisters will always come back together,” the Unfiltered podcast host noted.

As for future seasons of RHOBH, Brandi admits that the show may need a casting refresh but notes that she wouldn’t recast the entire show.

“[Kyle Richards] is the person that holds that… She’s the one that holds them all together,” she said, adding that Kyle leads the show “in a good way.”

According to Brandi, she would break up some of the twosome friendships on the show while getting rid of Crystal Minkoff altogether.

“It’s like, everyone has their final two. Kyle has [Dorit Kemsley], Rinna has Erika [Jayne], [Sutton Stracke] and [Garcelle Beauvais]. I would definitely break up some of the couples. [But] I don’t know if I would start completely fresh,” she explained.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in 2023.
