Turns out that season 13 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga is going to feel like a blast from the past for Bravo fans.
According to Melissa Gorga, the family drama that occurs this season between her, Joe Gorga, and Teresa Giudice feels very reminiscent of their feud during the early seasons of RHONJ.
“Unfortunately, you’re gonna feel like it’s the beginning all over again,” Melissa, 43, told Us Weekly on Wednesday, December 7. “That’s what’s unfortunate about it.”
The family isn’t speaking, and Melissa says they have no plans to see each other over the holiday season. Melissa and Joe will be having Christmas at their house instead of going to Teresa’s house.
“There will be sprinkle cookies everywhere,” Melissa joked.
Despite the family drama, Melissa admits she is hopeful that the Gorgas and Giudices/Ruelas can heal their family after watching season 13 playout.
“I always hope it’s gonna help, and I truly do from all angles, but sometimes it doesn’t because we end up on that couch in the reunion wanting to go crazy,” Melissa said.
Meanwhile, Melissa and Joe also chatted with Page Six on Wednesday, where they admitted that they were confused by Louie Ruelas’ recent comments about Joe on Teresa’s Namaste Bitches podcast.
Louie recently dubbed Joe a “good guy” on Teresa’s podcast, but fans weren’t the only ones scratching their heads over the praise.
“We don’t know,” Melissa admitted.
She added, “It’s very confusing. There are a lot of ups and downs and a lot of inconsistencies, so we’re wondering as much as you are.”
Joe said that Louie’s comment about his was “real nice.”
“I am a good guy. Too good! That’s the problem!” Joe noted.
RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
