Andy Cohen Apologizes to Garcelle Beauvais For his Insensitivity at RHOBH Reunion After Backlash

Bravo fans were unhappy with Andy Cohen following part two of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 reunion.

After Lisa Rinna revealed that she, not Erika Jayne, was the one who tossed Garcelle Beauvias’ book in the trash, the Watch What Happens Live host joked with Lisa and Erika about recycling. Check out the clip below!

In the clip, you can see that Garcelle is visibly upset over Andy, Erika, and Lisa making light of her book being tossed in the trash. As a result, fans called out Andy on social media and demanded that he apologize to Garcelle.  See some of their comments below!

Now, nearly a week later, Andy has issued a public apology to Garcelle. On Monday’s episode of Andy’s SiriusXM show, Radio Andy,  he apologized to Garcelle before explaining that he also had a private conversation with the RHOBH star.

“I need to really sincerely apologize not only for diverting the topic but for not returning — even worse — to the serious conversation that was at hand,” Andy explained.

“I have deep admiration for Garcelle,” Andy added, noting that he regrets how he handled the segment about Garcelle’s book.

Andy explained that he and Garcelle “had a really good, productive conversation last Thursday” about failing to acknowledge her feelings over Erika and Lisa trashing her book.

“I should have been more in tune with her feelings,” he said. “I just wanted to say that because I’ve been logging in, and I get it.”

Part 3 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 reunion airs Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
