Melissa Gorga’s recently reignited feud with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice is the talk of the town in New Jersey, according to Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
The Garden State reality TV star chatted about the Real Housewives of New Jersey gossip during a recent interview with Page Six.
“I live in Jersey, like, literally so close to [Gorga],” the Toms River, NJ resident confesses. “A lot of people are talking about that.”
According to Snooki, the Giudice/Gorga family drama is reaching every corner of her NJ town. It should be noted Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, have a shore home in Tom’s River. Teresa also often rents shore homes in neighboring towns.
“Like, [people] that are not on the show [are talking about it],” she notes. “Just people in town and everywhere.”
Snooki is good friends with Melissa and is friendly with Teresa as well. While the drama might not be good for their family, Snooki says it is great for Bravo fans and RHONJ.
“For entertaining-wise and viewership-wise, I’m like, ‘Oh, s–t, this is crazy!’” she says before adding that she’s excited for season 13 of RHONJ.
Still, Snooki admits it’s sad to see the Giudice/Gorga family be fractured.
“I mean, thinking about them as friends and how now they have that turmoil, it’s sad,” she admits, “because I’m such a family person, and that sucks.”
When it comes to picking sides in Teresa and Melissa’s feud, Snooki says she’s staying neutral.
“I don’t do teams!” she insists. “I am Team Messy Mawma. I love them both. I think they’re great.”
However, Snooki says she would love to vote for Teresa during her upcoming stint on Dancing With the Stars, even though she’s torn on who to vote for, considering fellow Jersey Shore OG Vinny Guadagnino is also competing in the competition.
“I mean, I would love for Teresa to go far,” she confesses. “There’s so many people that I really want to vote for.”
RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
