Jen Shah’s legal issues take center stage during season 3 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
While Bravo fans know Jen is guilty AF, as she pleaded guilty to her crimes in July, she proclaims “I’m innocent” in the nearly released trailer for season 3.
OG Housewives Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Jen will be joined by newcomers and friends of the Housewives Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Harrington, and Angie Katsanevas for a new season of dramatic ups and downs.
Front and center is Jen’s legal battle with the FBI. Jen insists that her former assistant/business partner/friend Stuart Smith is to blame for all her legal woes. In 2021, Stuart pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges to commit wire fraud in connection to a nationwide telemarketing scheme.
“I got played by Stuart Smith,” Jen quips in the trailer. “I would not be in this thing at all if it wasn’t for Stuart.”
Newbie Danna tells Whitney: “Someone I know was working for Jen, and now he’s an informant.”
Fast forward to footage of Summer 2022, when Jen changes her plea to guilty. She now faces sentencing in October and could face more than a decade in prison.
However, Jen isn’t the only hot gossip in Salt Lake City. Meredith reveals that she’s heard some rumors about Lisa telling Whitney, “I just heard that she was doing favors to help get places to pick up Vida Tequila.”
Whitney naturally blabs the gossip to the rest of the group.
“You told me she performed sexual favors,” Whitney confesses to the group causing a shocked Lisa to fire back, “Are you crazy?!”
Mormon melodrama continues with Heather’s new book, Bad Mormon, and continues her strained relationship with her family. At the same time, Whitney reveals her own trauma, “I was in a very abusive situation.”
