Diana Jenkins Sends Out Cease and Desist Letters Over False Madam Rumors

Diana Jenkins was ready and willing to become the new villain of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills; however, she wasn’t prepared for the nasty rumors that would come with the title.

Since it was announced that Diana would join the season 12 cast of RHOBH, rumors have plagued the budding reality TV star. For nearly a year, Diana has dodged rumors that she is a madam and runs a prostitution ring.

Now, Diana is taking action to clear her name once and for all. On Wednesday, the Bravoleb revealed that her legal team was sending out cease and desist letters to several major media outlets threatening legal action if they continue to perpetuate this nasty lie about her.

In the letters, Diana’s lawyer, J. Erik Connolly, demands that the named outlets stop the false claims, correct the record, and apologize.

The RHOBH star has sent out multiple cease and desist letters – 8 in total. However,  she is mainly focused on shutting down the two biggest offenders – Enty Lawyer and Jezebel, according to TMZ.

The letter to Enty Lawyer reads: “You have put yourself in a precarious and potentially ruinous position. Perhaps you believe that a ‘get out of jail’ card exists if you can persuade a court or jury that your statements about Ms. Jenkins and her companies are ‘pure opinion.'”

The letter continues: “That is not going to happen. You have held yourself out as someone that your audience can and should rely upon for uncovering facts. That is how you have built a following and a brand. That is why you have used the term ‘lawyer’ as part of your handle. You do not promote yourself as a purveyor of ‘make believe.’ You have branded yourself as something else for purposes of self-promotion and enrichment. Those facts foreclose the ‘pure opinion’ defense.”

Diana has also been accused of having ties to Jeffrey Epstein and being a part of a Hollywood pimping ring. She believes this all stems from her infamous book, Room 23, which features raunchy photos of models and celebrities.

She had denied these claims and even addressed them on RHOBH.

Jezebel has alleged that Diana’s coffee table book “is actually a catalog of clients and call girls.”

When it comes to Jezebel, Diana’s attorney also sent them a strongly worded letter: “Beyond the obvious legal issues, what you have done to Ms. Jenkins is simply wrong. She is a mother, a philanthropist, and an entrepreneur. Her philanthropic endeavors are well known and have generated millions of dollars in assistance for victims of human rights violations, natural disasters, wars, and health epidemics. To characterize Ms. Jenkins as a prostitute, sex trafficker, and criminal is not just factually inaccurate, but sexist.”

As the letters went out, Diana released a statement via her Instagram. She shared photos of the letters with a message that read:

“For too long, irresponsible journalists, bloggers and social media commentators have spread hurtful lies about me without consequences. I will no longer sit back and allow them to smear my name with impunity. I have instructed my lawyers to take whatever action is necessary to remove these false statements and to pursue justice from those who have been spreading lies about me. We launched the campaign today by sending legal letters to Enty Lawyer, Jezebel, Gawker, Heavy and others. I will not stop until justice is served. #RHOBH #Justice #RetracttheLies #ResponsbileJournalism.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on Bravo.
