So much Jersey drama, and the season hasn’t even started! Season 13 officially wrapped up a few days prior to Teresa Giudice’s wedding. Melissa and Joe Gorga decided not to come to the wedding, and Joe Gorga basically blamed it on the fact that Melissa wasn’t asked to be in the wedding, nor was his kids. He also said he “barely” was asked, explaining, “Let’s go back to the reunion. She did this. This was all on her. This is what she really wanted. She didn’t want [Melissa] in the wedding. She didn’t want any of my children in the wedding. She barely wanted me. I was asked after all this information went out to be in the wedding, and that’s what saddens me. And I knew that. And when I left that reunion, I looked at my wife, and I was like, ‘Wow, she hates us. I’ve never seen her like this.’ I said, ‘It’s terrible.”
Teresa Giudice has yet to speak out since her wedding, and we have only heard from Melissa and Joe Gorga.
Sources close to producers tell us EXCLUSIVELY that Melissa Gorga was asked to be in the wedding, “Teresa initially was going to have only a few people walk in her wedding. When season 13 started, everyone had made peace, and all was going well. Teresa decided to ask Dolores, Jennifer & Melissa to walk in the wedding. Teresa admitted it was late for her to ask, but she would love for her close girlfriends to be by her side, and it was a peace offering for Melissa so they can just move forward. Melissa declined, saying she is not walking and Teresa should stick to her initial decision.”
As far as Dolores and Jennifer? They were thrilled, “they understand things change with weddings all the time, and if she now wanted a bigger bridal party, they were happy to be a part of it. They love her and support her and just wanted her to have a great day since it’s her big day. “
And what about Joe Gorga saying he “barely” was asked? Another insider tells AllAboutTRH exclusively, “he was asked in the beginning. There was no barely about it. Louie was genuine and sweet with him. He has always been very respectful to Joe Gorga. Joe Gorga accepted and was excited about it. A few days later, he declined because he realized Melissa wasn’t asked. Louie respected his decision and had no hard feelings.”
I have a feeling these two families will have a hard time recovering from this.
