NeNe Leakes continues to speak her truth!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum took to Twitter on Sunday to slam “abusers” who “want power over their victims” amid her ongoing lawsuit with Bravo.
“Everybody can see what they did to me! Nobody is stupid!” NeNe tweeted. “This treatment has been going on for yearssss!”
She continued: “Just remember, abusers want power over their victims! They want to break you! Most abuse takes place behind closed doors (hint: this is why you don’t know or see everything). In the surface, it looks fine, right.”
NeNe then insisted that “many people behind the scenes that were complicit” in the treatment she allegedly received from Bravo. She noted that those people must be “exposed.”
“There were many people behind the scenes that were complicit! They need to be exposed,” she hinted.
The former reality TV star then revealed that she is writing a book and plans to tell it all.
“The book I have been writing for the past year is gonna be a MUST READ! I just can’t wait to share it,” she added.
In April, NeNe sued Bravo, claiming that they allowed racist behavior to fester behind the scenes for years.
“NBC, Bravo, and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not encouraged,” the lawsuit states.
NeNe says that she complained about Kim Zolciak- Biermann’s alleged racist remarks for years but that the network took no action. Instead, Bravo gave Kim a spinoff show while NeNe suffered the consequences.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
