Changing his tune.
A day after Andy Cohen confessed that he didn’t know how to feel about Jen Shah pleading guilty in her ongoing federal fraud cast the Big Daddy of Bravo admits he’s “extremely upset.”
“I’m upset, and I’m especially upset for her victims,” Andy said on his SiriusXM show ‘Andy Cohen Live.’
He then explained that he’s upset Jen lied for long and to so many people claiming she was 100% innocent.
“I’m upset that she lied for so long and claimed to me that she was an example of someone being wrongly accused,” Andy explained.
He added that seeing Jen’s “dogmatic” declaration of her innocence at the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 2 reunion made him believe that “this woman [should] have her day” in court.
“I’m extremely upset what she did, I’m also upset because, frankly, you get to know someone and you get to like them,” Andy confessed, adding that he had every intention to “cheer” Jen on during her trial which was set to begin on July 18.
“When we were on the air on Monday, the news about Jen Shah pleading guilty broke,” Andy said of his previous comments about Jen’s guilty plea.
“I did not have time to read anything about it, process it, we were on the air. I really didn’t have time to react, process it.”
“I have a lot of questions for her, and I’m sure the audience, especially those who supported her and stood by her, does too,” he continued. “I really hope to get the opportunity to speak with her and to ask those questions.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is currently filming season 3.
