Brandi Glanville’s unfiltered ways continue to ruffle feathers.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star hit below the belt, on more than one occasion, while filming “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club.”
Several members of the RHUGT cast slammed Brandi for “weaponizing” the death of Taylor Armstrong’s ex-husband, Russell Armstrong.
The shocking statement came as Brandi and Taylor argued over whether RHOBH was more successful before or after Brandi joined the show during season 2.
“Were you successful? ’Cause your husband…,” Brandi quipped during a group dinner.
Production omitted Brandi’s offensive comment by cutting the audio and taking the camera off Brandi. Despite the attempts, Brandi’s message was received loud and clear.
“I don’t think that’s successful,” Brandi added.
As OG RHOBH fans know, Russell committed suicide in 2011 as his marital woes with Taylor played out on RHOBH. Taylor filed for divorce from Russell two months prior to his death. Taylor alleged that she suffered years of domestic abuse at the hands of Russell.
The RHUGT cast commented on Brandi’s bombshell claims in their confessional interviews.
“Brandi just went way too low,” Vicki Gunvalson said, while Tamra Judge added, “Now she’s just throwing s—t.”
Eva Marcille dubbed Brandi’s comment “the most disgusting” thing she could have said.
Dorinda Medley quipped, “She’s weaponizing death.”
One RHUGT star who wasn’t surprised by Brandi’s comments was Phaedra Parks.
“Anyone throwing a rock at Brandi should expect five bullets to come back,” RHOA alum said in her confessional.
Back at the dinner table, Dorinda questioned why Brandi would bring up Russell’s death while fighting with Taylor.
“Because she’s coming after me!” Brandi asserted.
However, Taylor insisted that she was “not coming” for Brandi, instead claiming she was trying to point out how Brandi negatively impacted the show when she joined the cast.
Earlier in the evening, Taylor said she was disgusted by Brandi’s decision to reveal that their former co-star Adriene Maloof used a surrogate to welcome her twin sons, now 16, during season 3 of RHOBH.
“That, to me, is unforgivable. That, to me, is not Brandi’s place – as it so often is not Brandi’s place – to say things about people that have nothing to do with her,” Taylor explained. “It’s not something that I’m going to let go of because she hurt a family and it had nothing to do with her.”
Brandi, on the other hand, said she and Adriene have since made amends.
“Adrienne and I are cool. We text, we see each other, we’ve been fine for so long,” Brandi admitted. “Taylor who? Honestly, at this point, I forgot she was there and I feel like she’s just coming after me for a TV moment.”
