Things aren’t so honky dory between Melissa Gorga and sister-in-law Teresa Giudice following the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 reunion.
Turns out Melissa and Teresa weren’t the only ones in the RHONJ cast who had fallout following the season 12 reunion drama.
“It’s been a lot because we all left off on a crazy note,” Melissa tells OK! Magazine. “I would say at the reunion, there was a lot of hard feelings. There was a lot of sadness and there was a lot of friendships that just did not mend.”
However, Melissa adds, “We’re moving forward a little bit more now.”
As for her relationship with Teresa, the On Display podcast host says, “We are a work in progress. I feel like forever. Until the day I die. It’s real. I love being able to tell the world that it’s okay if you have someone in your family that you’re not perfect with.”
“We’re still family. We still wish the best for each other, but we just don’t wanna go to lunch,” she adds. “It’s never perfect. It might be one day, but it’s not right now.”
Despite the drama, Melissa says she and hubby Joe Gorga are putting their drama with Teresa aside to celebrate her upcoming wedding to Louie Ruelas.
“We can always push aside the family drama for a wedding, right? At the end of the day, everybody just wants to see Teresa happy,” Melissa recently told “Extra’s” Tommy DiDario.
When it comes to filming season 13, Melissa and Joe say that some “epic” drama has already occurred.
Melissa shared, “I’ll tell you this, I just left a scene to come here… That was pretty epic what we just filmed.”
Joe added, “Another epic scene, it just keeps going. You can’t make this sh*t up.”
Speaking of drama, Joe insists he really didn’t want to return for season 13 while noting that he’s over the family drama with Teresa and his nieces.
“I didn’t really want to come back… tired… Can’t deal with the family drama anymore. It’s like, enough,” Joe admitted.
RHONJ will return for season 13 in late 2022 or early 2023.
