It’s officially over for Jen Armstrong and her husband Ryne Holliday.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star filed for divorce from Ryne just weeks after filing for legal separation.
Jen requested to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to both her and Ryne. She also asked for legal and physical custody of their three children; only giving Ryne visitation rights.
In addition, she changed her and Ryne’s separation date from September 8, 2021, to April 6, 2022.
“Jen and Ryne are focused on their family and currently are getting along well,” a rep for the RHOC star told E! News.
The reality TV couple’s relationship woes played out during season 16 of RHOC. In February, Jennifer revealed that she and Ryne split after filming season 16 but ultimately reconciled.
In March 2022, the couple listed their $8 million Newport Beach home in hopes of having a fresh start. Eventually, they took the house off the market and opted to rent it out for $20k a month instead.
“There was no specific catalyst for the filing. After their first trial separation in September [2021], Jen and Ryne were still in limbo, and Jen felt like she needed to take this step to improve their family dynamic,” a source told Page Six of Jen and Ryne’s split.
“The issues they’ve been having are the same issues that played out on the show,” the insider continued. “But all is amicable, and they are committed to keeping their kids stable and happy.”
Jennifer and Ryne married on November 17, 2013.
RHOC is set to return for season 17 in late 2022 or early 2023.
