Lenny Hochstein may still be married to his estranged wife Lisa Hochstein but his new girlfriend Katharina Mazepa is “very proud” to be dating the Miami-based plastic surgeon, according to a Page Six source.
“[Katharina] was strutting and holding on to Lenny’s arm. She seemed very proud to be with him. He seemed more nonchalant about it all,” a source close to the Australian model shares.
The source revealed that they were told that Lisa and Lenny “had split a while ago, and he traded Lisa in for a newer model.”
Katharina herself spoke out saying that Lisa knew about her and claims the RHOM couple have been separated “for a while.”
“I was informed Lisa was fully aware that he was going out with me,” Katharina said. “In fact, he is going to great lengths to protect his family and do right by everyone involved in this difficult process.”
The model added that she’s “not the reason for their breakup” and insists she would never go “for a man who is happily married.”
Meanwhile, the Real Housewives of Miami star double downs being blindsided by Lenny’s divorce announcement and his new relationship.
“Since finding out just two weeks ago, my priority remains the same – our children. As a mother, their happiness, safety and protection from all of this remain my ultimate priority,” Lisa told Page Six on Thursday. “Unfortunately, this is a case of a man lying to two women at the same time.”
While Lisa doesn’t “blame” Katharina for her and Lenny’s split she does hint that the model could be using her estranged husband to “get ahead.”
“I don’t blame [Katharina] for what’s happening, we all choose different paths to get ahead in life,” Lisa added. “I feel blindsided by a man I’ve dedicated my life to.”
However, Lenny insists there’s no way Lisa was blindsided by their split.
“She was not blindsided and we were sleeping in separate bedrooms,” the plastic surgeon told Page Six via email on Thursday.
