Teddi Mellencamp Shuts Down Rumors Edwin’s Security Company Installed Dorit and Pk’s Home Alarm Plus Kyle Defends PK and Dorit Coming to her House the Night After Robbery

Following Dorit and PK Kemsley’s horrific home invasion in October 2021, theories about the near-fatal event swirled around social media and the internet.

While many of the rumors died down after a while, they have since reemerged following the season 12 premiere of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Wednesday. As fans know the episode detailed Dorit and PK’s much-talked-about home invasion.

One of the rumors going around involves Teddi Mellencamp’s husband, Edwin Arroyave. Fans have speculated that Edwin’s security company installed the alarm system at Dorit and PK’s Encino home.

It’s no secret that Edwin’s company did the security at Kyle Richards’ Encino home, which was infamously burglarized while the family was on vacation in January 2018.

Some fans have theorized that it’s too coincidental that both homes were robbed, and both allegedly used Edwin’s security system company.

However, now, Teddi is finally shutting down the rumor mill. I don’t know why it took her this long, but whatever.

On Twitter, Teddi made it clear that Edwin and his company had no involvement in Dorit and PK’s security system at their home.

“To be clear, Edwin did not do Dorit’s alarm or security system. So Twitter can take a breath,” Teddi said.

She reiterated the statement in reply to Love Andy C, who asked: “Teddi, it was my understanding that it was not Edwin that installed Dorit’s security system. Can you confirm that”

Teddi replied, “It was not.”

Meanwhile, some RHOBH fans took issue with Dorit and PK meeting up at Kyle’s house less than 24-hours after their home was burglarized.

Some fans couldn’t fathom how Dorit and PK could film or be away from their kids after Dorit was held at gunpoint and their home was robbed.

“Ain’t no way I am leaving my house and my kids alone the very next night,” one fan tweeted.

“I don’t know how Dorit could leave her kids after what happened the night before – assistant or not,” a second fan said.

Another fan added, ” Wait, honestly, if I just had my house burglarized and had a gun to my head, I would not leave my skids side for like years. How is Dorit just like…brb gotta film a scene at Kyle’s house?!?”

“Ok, maybe I’m missing something, but why are PK and Dorit at Kyle’s and not home with their kids when the robbery literally just happened?” another fan quipped.

Kyle replied to the tweet and explained that Dorit and PK didn’t tell the kids about the robbery and didn’t want to see them breaking down over it.

“Because the kids didn’t know what happened, and they didn’t want them to see them upset, “ Kyle said.
