Lisa Vanderpump is Done With Horseback Riding After Injury; Hubby Ken Todd Weighs In and Gives Update On Lisa’s Recovery

Lisa Vanderpump is not getting back in the saddle following her recent horseback riding accident.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s husband, Ken Todd, says it’s unlikely that Lisa will ever ride again after breaking her leg.

As Lisa was undergoing surgery on her leg, Ken told TMZ that she broke her leg in three places. He estimated her recovery will take 8-10 weeks or longer.

One thing he is sure of is that Lisa’s riding days are a thing of the past. He notes that the horse she was riding during her accident is a “gentle and amazing animal” however he doesn’t want his wife risking her well-being.

Ken called the accident just “one of those things” that happens in life.

On Sunday, January 30 Lisa was riding her horse at The Paddock Riding Club in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles when her horse got spooked and bucked her off.

Meanwhile, Lisa shared an update of her own with fans on Instagram.

“Thank you for all the well wishes and beautiful flowers, I am doing much better after surgery! 4 fractures in my leg and a badly bruised back, but I am on the road to recovery! I will be back in the saddle of life soon!” Lisa wrote alongside a photo of various floral arrangements she received from friends and family.

RHOBH is expected to return to Bravo in Spring 2022.
