It turns out Lala Kent wasn’t a fan of her sex life with ex Randall Emmett.
The Vanderpump Rules star admitted on a recent episode of her Give Them Lala podcast that she doesn’t miss having sex with her ex.
“I’ve been sober for over three years, and I had the same partner,” she said. “I had sex sober, which I couldn’t wait for it to be over most of the time.”
Lala, who has been sober since 2018, noted that having sex with another person is going to be interesting when the time comes.
She also confessed that, besides during her relationship with Randall, she hadn’t had sober sex since she lost her virginity at 17.
“I was sober when I lost my virginity, but after that? I’m a drinker, girl!” she joked. “Like, I’m a bag of fun.”
“So not only is it that, like, I’m going into new territory, where it’s like I’m going to be banging it out without an ounce of alcohol in my system,” she added. “However, I think it’s going to be fun because I’ve been like talking to a few people, and I’m like, ‘I f–king got it. I still got it.’”
Meanwhile, during a Q&A on her Instagram Story, Lala admits that she’s “happy” to be “free” from Randall.
“Obviously I get a lot of strength from my daughter,” Lala explained. “but beyond that, I think strength comes with knowing your worth, with or without someone.”
She added, “The moment I saw who that person really was, and the mask had finally fallen, I knew I was better off and he never deserved me. That feeling gave me power. Even though there are moments I go ‘what the f–k,’ I find strength in the fact that I am free. I am happy again. I recognize myself in the mirror again.”
