Another day, another lawsuit!
Real Housewives of Orange County newbie Dr. Jen Armstrong is being sued for a hefty amount of money.
According to Radar Online, Terri Litzkow is suing Armstrong, her business Advanced Skincare Medcenter and a man named Donald Woo Lee for a whopping $250,000.
Litzkow accuses Jen and the other defendants of fiduciary duty and medical battery. Litzkow says she went to Jen’s Newport Beach office in 2017 for skin issues and received several dermatological treatments from 2017 through January 2021.
Starting in early 2020, Litzkow alleges that Jen told her that she was unhappy with a certain brand of cosmetic dermatology products. As a result, Jen replaced the products with a new brand that produced superior quality products. Litzkow claims the packaging of the products had Korean writing on them.
Around this time Litzkow says she started experiencing pain in her face. When Litznow addressed the issue with Jen, the Dr told her that Woo Lee would fix the problem with additional treatments including facial thread lifts.
“Defendant Dr. Armstrong informed Litzkow that defendant Donald Woo Lee would treat Litzkow in order to fix the problem with the thread and alleviate the pain that Litzkow was suffering,” the lawsuit reads. “Dr. Armstrong and her medical corporations had a duty of loyalty and to refrain from engaging in any illegal acts when it came to treating Litzkow.”
However, Litzkow says she was never informed that Woo Lee was NOT practicing medicine in conjunction with Jen, even though he wore scrubs and was referred to as Dr. Lee. Litzkow also learned that Woo Lee had been previously disciplined for insurance fraud and had lost his medical license five years ago.
As a result, Jen, her practice, and Woo Lee are being sued for more than $250k for Litzkow’s mental suffering, anxiety, and emotional distress.
The reality TV star has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
