Late Tuesday nights, reports emerged that police and SWAT were “engaged in a standoff with a felony suspect” in Newport Beach.
Around the same time, former Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd sent out a tweet, saying, “Pray for @elizabethlynvargas.”
Initially, Kelly’s post about her fellow Bravo alum left everyone scratching their heads in confusion; however, TMZ then reported that the standoff in Newport Beach was taking place at Elizabeth’s beachfront home.
Elizabeth’s ex-boyfriend allegedly barricaded himself inside her home after she called the cops.
A source explains that Elizabeth has been having issues with her ex and called the cops on Tuesday to report him for possible extortion. He showed up at her place when the cops were present and barricaded himself in the home.
Per TMZ, law enforcement has one suspect in custody.
Thankfully, Elizabeth wasn’t harmed during the incident and was not held hostage by her ex-boyfriend.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
