Kelly Dodd has a theory on the strange dynamic between returning Housewife Heather Dubrow and long-time star Shannon Beador on season 16 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
According to Kelly, Shannon is “afraid” of Heather, so she is being a “kiss ass” this season to stay on Heather’s good side.
During a recent episode of their podcast, Rick and Kelly Unmasked, Rick Leventhal asked his wife why Shannon recently apologized to Heather, allowing Kelly to share her thoughts on the recent drama.
Kelly explained, “Because [Shannon] ’s afraid of her!… Poor Shannon… She doesn’t have her real friends to back her up. So she has to kiss her ass. It’s bullshit. You’re going to get mad at somebody for telling the truth?”
Rick then brought up Heather’s “longstanding grudge” against Shannon. The drama between Heather and Shannon stems from season 9, when Heather kicked Shannon out of her house.
The former RHOC star feels Heather’s beef with Shannon is “ridiculous.”
She quips, “You can just see the evil… She’s a little evil little girl here, that Heather Dubrow.”
Meanwhile, Kelly reveals that Noella Bergener is the only OC Housewife she finds the least bit interesting. She also claims that Heather is super mean to Noella throughout season 16.
“Noella’s the only one that’s interesting to me,” Kelly admitted.
“You’re gonna see Heather Dubrow being very, very mean to Noella,” she adds.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
