Clapping back!
Andy Cohen is firing back at former OC Housewife Kelly Dodd after she claimed that the Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 reboot is a major flop.
The drama started when Kelly retweeted a post sharing the latest RHOC ratings.
“Wait, wasn’t I the ratings problem? Wasn’t there a boycott ?? We got over a million viewers 14 out of 16 weeks last season despite HUGE competition from election coverage on the news !!! This year? #RHOC16 under a million 3x in 4 weeks! Hey @Andy, How’s that reboot going ???” Kelly tweeted alongside the ratings for episode 4 of season 16.
The ratings for episode 4 showed 822,000 live views, which according to Kelly, is far less than the one million live views the franchise received for season 15.
However, Andy says that’s not true. According to Andy, the RHOC reboot is going great, and the numbers are calculated by live views and delayed numbers, aka watching on DVR or on-demand.
“Good morning! Reboot [is] going great. [It] feels like a return to form for #RHOC. Look at the delayed numbers, not live. That’s what’s measured,” Andy fired back at Kelly on Twitter.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
