Kyle Richards is defending good friends and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars Dorit and PK Kemsley after fans accuse them of leaking PK’s DUI story to the media.
After the news of PK’s DUI story broke in the media, fans smelled something fishy and accused the reality TV couple of leaking the story to the press for a storyline on RHOBH.
As we previously reported, PK was arrested on suspicion of DUI on November 23 after drinking wine with his dinner.
He was pulled over on the 101 in Los Angeles and blew .081 during a breathalyzer test. The Housewives husband was arrested and taken to a police department in Van Nuys at midnight. While there, he was tested again and blew .073.
Attorney Ronald Richards quickly noted that PK blew under the legal limit and won’t be charged with a DUI.
“The Paul Kemsley citation for DUI: He actually tested UNDER the legal limit. He will never be charged,” Richards tweeted on Tuesday, December 7.
Despite the good news for PK, fans had quite a bit to say about the whole ordeal.
“Cause they are faking all this shit for storylines,” one fan quipped on Twitter.
Another fan pointed out how the story “broke” two weeks after PK’s DUI incident. “Do the Kemsleys want attention?! And a storyline?” the fan wondered.
We posted these comments on the AllAboutTRH Instagram page and asked, “Some fans think Dorit and PK Kemsley leaked the story of PK’s DUI in hopes of making it a storyline for season 12 of RHOBH. Agree or disagree?”
Kyle commented on our post in defense of PK and Dorit.
“You have got to be kidding me,” Kyle commented. “Nobody wants this in their lives / ‘storylines.'”
RHOBH will return to Bravo for season 12 in 2022.
