Erika Jayne Launches Hair Extension Line Amid Divorce and Legal Drama

It’s no secret that it’s “XXPEN$IVE” to be Erika Jayne, so it’s not surprising that the now single Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is launching her own hair extension line to fund her luxury lifestyle.

This week Erika announced the launch of her hair extension line, Pretty Mess Hair.

“I have worn every type of hair extension on and off stage and on TV for over a decade,” Erika told PEOPLE on Thursday. “So I know what I love and works best for all situations. You name it; I’ve worn it!”

Pretty Mess Hair offers both sewn-in and tape-in extensions, which will work for both novice and seasoned hair extension users.

“It’s quick and easy to maintain but still considered a professional product,” she said.

She added, “There is not a ‘look’ I will not try because the great thing about extensions is that you can quickly and quite easily take them out and still have your original hair. No permanent commitment, which makes it fun!”

Erika admits that working on her hair extension line has been “refreshing” amid her divorce from her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, and their mounting legal woes. Erika is being sued for $25 million by the trustee of the Girardi Keese bankruptcy case. The trustees allege that Erika knew and benefitted from Tom’s alleged embezzlement.

“I’ve definitely had quite an interesting year, and being a part of a new business venture is both exciting and refreshing,” she said. “It gives me butterflies. This is a new chapter of my life, and I’m grateful to be moving in a glamorous, wonderful new direction.”

RHOBH will return to Bravo for season 12 in 2022.
