It’s the anticipated moment many fans of the Real Housewives of Potomac have been waiting for….Nicki Minaj has entered the building! As part three of the RHOP reunion aired – Andy Cohen announces he needed some tequila when Nicki Minaj surprises all the ladies. The ladies seem excited and nervous all at the same time.
Andy steps away before telling Nicki, “I am handing you my chair, I’m gonna take my tequila and go.”
Prior to taking the floor – Andy checked in on Nicki to see who she would be targeting in which Nicki says, “Possibly Ashley. Child, when she walked her butt up out of that house … to ream somebody about their husband and family, I wasn’t feeling that.” Nicki added, “People said to me that if I spoke to Candiace about her music that she might be sad or take it the wrong way, but I don’t think she should take it the wrong way.” Andy then let Nicki know he was excited because he was confident, she would be saying her opinions. Nicki joked that Andy gave her permission to take sides.
On to hosting, Nicki comes in hot accusing Ashley of not having a storyline saying, “My first question is, Ashley: First of all I want to say I love seeing you with your boys. But to me, because you had just had a baby and you wanted to be home, rightfully so, with your babies, it seemed like you didn’t have much of a storyline. So is that why you were willing to be Gizelle’s sidekick and be shady to Wendy? You ain’t lug your breast milk down there to start some drama, to be petty, so you can get more camera time?”
Candiace shockingly stuck up for Ashley reminding Nicki that Ashley had just given birth two weeks prior and that she still has a job. And I appreciated Candiace doing that because it’s true. Nicki might think Ashley is messy but for her to bring her children into it was shocking. Ashley has a job and needs to show up or can risk getting fired. We’ve seen it time and time again so I think she should respect that Ashley left knowing it would be very hard for her.
