It seems that Meghan King’s wedding to Cuffe Owens wasn’t just a shock to Real Housewives fans.
On Monday, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum married President Joe Biden’s nephew in a small ceremony in Kennett Square, Penn.
The newly married couple, who have only known each other for less than a month, shocked their family and friends by saying ‘I do.’
“Her family is a bit shocked that she tied the knot so quickly,” a source told Us Weekly.
However, it turns out that Meghan did inform her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, of her and Cuffe’s wedding plans ahead of their big day.
“She has very little communication with her ex, but he was given a heads up a few days prior,” the insider said. “Mainly because her kids were part of the wedding.”
Speaking of Jim, he didn’t miss the opportunity to shade his ex-wife’s new marriage.
Jim and his daughter Hayley Edmonds were spotted wearing “Anti Biden Social Club” T-shirts on October 9 in a photo on Instagram.
“Your opinion? We don’t care,” Hayley captioned the photo.
It’s pretty safe to say that Jim knew about Meghan’s upcoming wedding when posing for this photo.
“Glad my shirt worked out for ya!” Jim’s fiancée, Kortnie O’Connor, commented.

Despite the dig, Meghan isn’t letting anything interrupt her wedded bliss.
“Our wedding was about two things for us,” Meghan told Brides magazine on Monday. “Our love for and commitment to each other, and our family—each of our families, and the new very large and very tight family that we were bonding together by getting married. That’s it.”
RHOC is expected to return for season 16 at the end of 2021.
