Lisa Rinna is sticking to her guns when it comes to supporting her friend and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Erika Janye.
On Thursday, September 30, the actress turned reality TV star declared that she’s “on the right side of history” when it comes to supporting Erika amid her legal troubles.
Lisa made the statement in a re-post of one fan’s Instagram Story.
“Everyone is dragging Erika except Rinna,” a fan wrote in part. “Rinna seems to be on the right side even though y’all think she’s wrong.”
Lisa shared the post with her nearly 3 million followers, adding, “I’m always on the right side of history.”
The outspoken Bravoleb has since deleted the post from her Instagram Story.
Earlier this month a source told Page Six that Erika has been turning to Lisa for support in recent months as she feels she the only costar who fully has her back.
“Lisa is the only friend left,” an insider said.
So far, Lisa is the only Beverly Hills Housewife to be completely loyal to Erika amid allegations that she and her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, embezzled millions from his former clients.
Lisa has stood by the belief that Erika is 100% innocent.
She also reveals why she’s standing by Erika Jayne amid accusations that she and Tom Girardi embezzled millions from his clients, including widows and orphans.
Lisa then says what she’d do if she found out Erika was lying to her about not being aware or involved in Tom’s alleged crimes.
“I’ve known Erika a long time, I don’t think she knew anything,” Lisa said on an August episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Why would Tom Girardi tell Erika anything? The lawyers didn’t even know. That is how I feel, I’m going to stand by it. If I’m wrong, I’ll f–king deal with it.”
A month later, on another episode of WWHL, Lisa further revealed why she’s choosing to stand by Erika.
“I think, and I still do that we need to let this play out,” Lisa confessed. “Why would Tom Girardi ever tell Erika Jayne anything? She doesn’t work at the law firm – there’s lawyer/client privilege. How could he ever even come home and say, ‘Oh, honey, by the way, I did this, this, and this.'”
She added that if it’s revealed that Erika is lying to her she will “have it out with her.”
“And I will have it out with her. That’s the thing if she is somehow lying to me in any way, shape, or form, we will come to terms with that. I have to let this play out because no one has been charged, no one has been arrested – we haven’t even heard her side of the story. I know everyone is furious with me for standing by her, but she’s my friend. At the end of the day, she hasn’t been charged, and I believe he did it. He did this,” Lisa quipped.
