Can Bethenny Frankel save the Real Housewives of New York again?! That’s what Bravo is hoping!
A new report from Life & Style claims that Bravo is begging Bethenny to return and save the franchise.
According to a source, the Skinnygirl mogul is in talks to return to the franchise after the ratings reached an all-time low during season 13.
“Everyone agrees there were too many boring storylines this season,” notes the source. “The show needs a major boost, and Bethenny is still their MVP.”
However, getting Bethenny back on the show won’t be an easy task.
She’s previously said it would take a whole bunch of cash “to get her back on Bravo.”
“Bethenny’s making some bold demands,” says the source. She not only wants a multimillion-dollar payday but also an executive producer credit.
“It’s all about the Benjamins,” Bethenny previously hinted when questioned about ever returning to RHONY.
“Andy [Cohen’s] not thrilled about the situation, but the bottom line is: Bravo needs Bethenny more than she needs them,” adds the source.
In August, Bethenny shut down rumors she’s in talks with Bravo to return to RHONY for season 14.
“I posted on Insta that my being in talks w @BravoTV is [100 emoji] false. I deleted there & took here Bc Haiti is what’s important & I don’t want to clutter msgs w false gossip,” she tweeted on Tuesday, August 24. “The leak is desperate for attention. I haven’t spoken to bravo since leaving & @Andy & I don’t discuss RHONY.”
