Buckle up because it’s going to be a bumpy and wild ride for season 2 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Jen Shah‘s March arrest was captured on camera as she and her RHOSLC costars filmed season 2, and now fans are getting their first look at the video evidence.
A Bravo Insider First Look, released on Tuesday, September 7, shows Jen getting notified that she’s about to be arrested as the ladies prepare to leave for a cast trip with costars Heather Gary, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and newbie Jennie Nguyen.
“I have some bad news,” she tells costar, Heather. “I just got a phone call, and I need to go.”
“How did they know she was here?” Lisa asks, “Somebody had to have told them she was here.”
Later in the preview, Whitney reads a headline to the group about Jen’s arrest.
“Real Housewives star charged in massive fraud money laundering scheme,” she reads aloud. “I have the f—king chills. Her and Stu [Smith] were charged for stealing people’s money.”
Meanwhile, Jen revealed which costars supported her the most amid her legal issues during a Live chat on Bravo’s Instagram,
“Heather. My girl Heather Gay was there for me from [the] jump. Heather was there. She was like, ‘Girl, where you at? I’m coming. What do you need?” she said before adding that the experience quickly taught her who her real friends are. “But who’s there for you when you really, really need them. Heather showed up for me. No questions asked. Two in the morning, three in the morning, five in the morning. That’s been invaluable to me because I don’t have to wonder or wade through all the bull.”
However, Jen admits that not all her RHOSLC costars weren’t so cordial right off the bat.
“I was very, very close with Lisa [Barlow], and that’s honestly who I expected to pick up the phone on the first ring … and you know, it took a minute. It took a minute for her to process and go through whatever she was going through,” she confessed.
Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premieres on Bravo on Sep. 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
