This week’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was titled “The Dinner Party from Hell: Part Two” and boy did it live up to its name.
If you remember the original “Dinner Party from Hell” aired in 2010 and took place at OG star Camille Grammer’s home. The dinner featured a psychic, who infamously told Kyle Richards that her husband, Mauricio Umansky, would “never emotionally fulfill” her.
So, for Bravo to use the episode name again meant that fans were in for one hell of a ride and the network didn’t disappoint.
The episode kicked off with Kyle and Sutton Stracke discussing Erika Jayne’s freakout at Lisa Rinna’s beauty launch party. Erika’s behavior made Sutton realize that Erika is “not as fragile” as she once believed.
“You can’t call me Miss Small Town, now you’ve made me angry,” Sutton said before vowing to have a “hardcore conversation” with Erika the next time they saw each other. She also wanted Erika to know that she wasn’t “buying” everything she was selling about her estranged husband Tom Girardi including his car accident, health issues, and legal woes.
Sutton said the whole situation was “fishy” and that she believed Erika was embellishing on her estranged husband’s injuries as “part of Tom’s defense.”
She added, “Erika is acting like she’s totally innocent — emphasis on the word acting — but Erika made a deal with the devil and the devil always comes knocking.”
Erika, on the other hand, had her own meet-up with costars Crystal Minkoff, Garcelle Beauvais, and Kathy Hilton where she said the incident with Sutton was “disappointing” before throwing some major shade at her.
“She should be lucky people know who the f— you are,” Erika quipped.
The drama really heated up when all the ladies met at Kathy’s house for a fancy dinner party. As the ladies all gathered around the table, Sutton asked Erika have a “chit-chat” about their interaction at Lisa’s party.
“I wanna make sure that you’re okay,” Sutton said.
“What are you trying to do? I don’t need to clear the air with you, you’ve made your position very clear. I don’t need to hear it, I’ve heard it from everyone else,” Erika snapped back. “I have enough problems. I only have enough capacity for the things that really matter and your opinion of me does not matter.”
“You’re trying to accuse me of lying, and I’m not a liar,” Erika later told Sutton. “Do you know something about my life that I don’t? If you do, speak up. I’m very interested to know. Look at me. I’ll go head-on with you all f–king day. I’m telling the truth. I am not a liar. You have a lot of f–king nerve.”
Sutton then told Erika, “You have to stop speaking to me like that. You do.”
“Or what? Or what?” Erika snapped. “Right, exactly. Shut the f–k up. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Nothing.”
Erika then took aim at all the ladies who got involved in her argument with Sutton.
“There’s going to be a day when all of this is behind me, and it’s going to be a very sweet day,” Erika said. “I’m going to remember those who were with me and I’m going to remember those who were against me. Trust me.”
She then broke down in tears as Dorit Kemsley said that they had her back despite Sutton saying she put the ladies in a “bad position.”
“I do not believe there’s a single person at this table that doesn’t want to see you come out of this,” Dorit explained. “I am going to support you to the bitter end. I will do anything you need, anything. But holy s–t, when you’re reading about the victims and the orphans, that’s very hard to digest.”
She added that the group “never had an indication” that Erika would be involved in Tom’s fraud and embezzlement scandal.
Erika said through tears, “Then why are you torturing me about it? This doesn’t feel like being there for me.”
“No one’s torturing you, everyone’s trying to be there for you,” Dorit replied, before Erika fired back, “Look at me, Dorit. Look at me. Come on. Look at my f–king life. Every time I come to one of these events, the s–t, it gets kicked out of me for something I didn’t even f–king do.”
“Why are you still talking? Why are you all doing this to me?” Erika continued. “I’m looking at all of you. What are you doing?! Seriously! Every time I come to one of these events, the s— gets kicked out of me. For something I didn’t even f—ing do. Dorit, if you would like to trade places [with] me, let me know. Why don’t you have some compassion for where I am right now.”
The episode ended with a “To be continued” so all we can do is wait until next week for the drama to conclude.
Thoughts on this all? Do you think Erika overreacted? Are Sutton and the rest of the ladies concerns valid? Sound off below!
