Ramona Singer isn’t ready to retire from the Real Housewives just yet.
The OG Real Housewives of New York star pleaded her case on Instagram as the franchise’s future continues to hang in the balance.
In a re-post on her Instagram Story, Ramona made her case as to why she’s vital to the New York Housewives franchise while hinting that she’s not going down without a fight.
Ramona shared a post from the Hwivesfanatic account on Instagram, which asked the account to give their honest opinion on the Housewife.
“There is no #RHONY without @ramonasinger. She is one of the best housewives we could ever ask for. She lives up to her OG status,” the post read.
It continued, “She’s hilarious and over the top, and that’s why I love her. I would be heartbroken if she ever left the show. She is ‘pop icon.’”
As we previously reported, Ramona and longtime co-stars Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan have reportedly been offered “friend” roles for season 14.
“Bravo just came to Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan and is requesting they come back as “friends” for next season,” an insider told Radar Online. “Ramona is the highest paid with Lu right behind her.”
The network initally planned to fire Ramona altogether as they attempted to revive the dying franchise. However, it seems they have since had a change of heart.
Currently, Bravo plans to put RHONY on the back burner for a few months and relaunch the franchise in late 2022.
Only time will tell if Ramona’s status on the show remains intact or if she’ll be getting off the Ramona coaster for good.
The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
