Who needs the ladies of the OC when you can hang out with Hollywood royalty?
Former RHOC Lydia McLaughlin was known as the petite, sweet faith-based housewife before quitting after she found the show too toxic for her liking. Lydia then came back for a second round but didn’t exactly gel with the ladies (specifically Shannon) and left the show once and for all. Since then, Lydia has led a relatively quiet life in Orange County; however just because she’s not on camera doesn’t mean her life is any less fabulous.
Lydia recently posted a humble brag post showing that she and her husband Doug were hanging out with A-List actress Renee Zellweger and her boyfriend Ant Anstead. The photo showed the couples as they stepped out to attend the Radford Motors gala at the Lyon Air Museum in Santa Ana, Calif. According to People Magazine Anstead helped revive the brand and the event unveiled its new Lotus Type 62-2 coach-built sports car. Take a look at the snap below:
The photo was kind of a big deal as it marked Renee and Antstead’s first public event together afterall.
A source added to People Magazine that both Renee and Anstead “are private and dislike public scrutiny, so they have that in common. He’s a creative guy with lots of interests, and she likes to write and produce, so they have things to talk about when together.”
RHOC has seen a cast shakeup after Elizabeth, Kelly, and Braunwyn were fired. Despite no mention of Lydia returning, now that she is back in the spotlight perhaps she will be eyeing a return?
