New look, new season, who dis?!
Emily Simpson will be debuting a new look for season 16 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
The reality TV star decided to have her facial fillers dissolved before filming kicked off for the upcoming season of RHOC.
Newport Beach-based Aesthetic Medicine Physician and Surgeon Dr. Emily Armstrong dissolved Emily’s fillers after the OC Housewife came to her practice “looking for some advice” on her facial fillers.
“I explained that sometimes people put too much #filler in their #face which can actually age them and make them look heavier,” Dr. Armstrong explained on Instagram. “We dissolved [the] filler to bring back her natural features.”
“[Emily’s] before picture was the day before and her after picture is immediately after the dissolving. She looks so #beautiful and #young. After dissolving sometimes, you need to add back a little filler in the right places. Stay tuned for the final after pic tomorrow. Thank you for trusting me, Emily!” Dr. Armstrong continued.
The RHOC star later explained to PEOPLE, “I haven’t had any fillers done for at least a year or more. I believe the filler had migrated on my face, and there was too much right underneath my eyes. It gave me what I call ‘The Cabbage Patch Kid’ look, which made me lose my eyes. The area directly under my eyes was too puffy.”
She noted that she deiced to make a change after not liking how she looked in photos.
“The only slight pain I felt was from the needle prick,” she said. “The doctor injected a solution that immediately dissolved the filler. There’s no pain, but you can immediately see the puffiness caused by the filler begin to dissipate.”
The upcoming season of RHOC began filming in July and will feature Emily alongside Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, and Gina Kirschenheiter. The season will also feature several new additions to the cast.
RHOC is expected to return for season 16 in late 2021 or early 2022.
