More money, more problems!
On Tuesday, a judge ruled that Tom Girardi’s embezzlement victims can collect payments from his estranged wife, Erika Jayne!
According to PEOPLE, Tom’s former clients turned victims, Joseph Ruigomez, Jaime Ruigomez, and Kathleen Ruigomez will be able to collect the $11 million they are owed from the former famed lawyer.
A judge previously placed a hold on collections from Tom’s assets as he and his Girardi Keese law firm continue to be investigated by a bankruptcy trustee after filing for chapter 7 in 2020.
This new ruling comes just weeks after the bankruptcy trustee revealed that Girardi Keese transferred $20 million to Erika’s various businesses.
As a result, the Ruigomez family has been given the green light to continue their lawsuit against the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star.
“All assets identified by the Ruigomez family shall be subject to all rights of the Girardi bankruptcy estate and the [Girardi Keese] bankruptcy estate, which parties shall meet and confer in good faith to determine the character/ownership of the identified assets,” the new court document states. “The Ruigomez Family, the Girardi Trustee, and the GK Trustee shall cooperate with each other with their collection efforts against Erika.”
“He never got to the second payment,” Joe’s mother, Kathy, claimed.
Hopefully, this family and more of Tom’s victims can start to recoup the money they are owed.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
