Leah McSweeney Calls Out Heather Thomson For Being ‘Disingenuous’ and Spreading Lies About Her In the Press; Slams Heather for ‘Falsely Accusing Me of Assault’

The drama between Leah McSweeney and Heather Thomson turned physical on Tuesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of New York.

Ahead of the episode, Leah called out Heather on her Instagram stories. The Married to the Mob founder accused the former RHONY star of being “disingenuous” and spreading lies about her in the press.

She also claimed that Heather “falsely accused” her of “assault.”

“I am seeing a narrative emerge that I’m not comfortable with and thus feel the need to speak out,” Leah wrote.

“Heather was unable to forge natural connections with any of the women, and that is why she discontinued filming,” she continued. “Everything she has been saying about me in the press these last few weeks bears no resemblance to reality.”

She added, “I’m not a fan of disingenuous people. She says one thing in the press and another to people’s faces. Say what you mean, mean what you say. I have never once lied to her or about her.”

Leah went on to explain that her behavior was out of wack because she was “dealing with a tremendous personal loss” and that she “acknowledged” and “apologized to everyone for being aggressive.”

She noted that she “squashed” her beef with everyone, including Heather.

The 38-year-old didn’t stop there. She then accused Heather of “spinning lies in the press” and “openly attacking” her “mental heather, sobriety journey, and falsely accusing me of assault.”

Leah called Heather’s attacks “wrong, dangerous, inappropriate and a sad attempt to save face because she couldn’t cut it the show.”

“She defames women to lift herself up,” Leah said of Heather before accusing the Yummy Tummy founder of trying to stay “relevant” with this “dumb bullshit.”

Heather previously claimed she was assaulted by Leah while filming season 13 of RHONY.

“I get assaulted this season,” Heather revealed on the “Friends of Dorothy” podcast in May.“The show has changed a lot, breaking the fourth wall.”

“People were interested in putting me down, dragging me down, and showing me who is the queen bee. I just don’t have time for that stuff. It’s the new girl who was intimidated and wanted to show who’s the queen bee,” she continued.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
