Jennifer Aydin Claims Teresa Giudice Didn’t Want Melissa Gorga To Be A Part of the Real Housewives Mashup Special

Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga looked all buddy-buddy during their trip to Turks & Caicos to film the Real Housewives mashup special.

However, it turns out Teresa wasn’t too thrilled to be filming the special with her sister-in-law.

Tre and Melissa’s Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Jennifer Aydin spilled this tea when appearing on a recent episode of the Slut Pig podcast.

According to Jennifer,  “The way that I saw that they casted, I was under the assumption that they picked the ones that had the most longevity on the show, so actually, it made sense to me that it was Melissa and Teresa.”

She continued,  “I mean, Teresa did say, ‘I wish I was going with you or Dolores [Catania]. What am I gonna do with her [Melissa]?’ But I was like, ‘No, you guys will have fun!’ And she’s like, ‘It is what it is.’”

Jen apparently realized she said too much and tried to backtrack, but it was too little too late. However, she didn’t miss the chance to take another swipe at Melissa.

“But listen, Teresa didn’t say that because she has a problem with Melissa,” she added. “She just has such a good time with me and Dolores. So, she was just like, ‘I wish I was going with my two really good girlfriends.’ I was like, ‘Sorry, Teresa, you can do all the work like usual.’”

In addition to Teresa and Melissa, the Real Housewives mashup special will feature Cynthia Bailey, Luann de Lesseps, Kenya Moore, Ramona Singer, and Kyle Richards. The special will air later this year on NBC’s Peacock app.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo for season 12 in late 2021 or early 2022.
