There was no shortage of drama during season 11 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The drama featured wasn’t just between the Housewives – we saw family and marital drama play out as well.
No storyline was more heartbreaking than the fallout between Jennifer Aydin and her mom, Josephine Altinel. Jennifer’s season 11 storyline focused on her family, more specifically, her issues with her mom. The reason for that is because Jennifer took her father in to live with her family.
Although Jennifer’s parents are still married, they are separated. Jennifer’s mother felt betrayed by her daughter taking her husband’s side. As a result, Jennifer has been distant from her mother, and they were not only speaking terms throughout most of season 11 and beyond.
Despite the drama, Jennifer’s family drama has a happy ending. On Thursday, May 20, Jennifer revealed on Instagram that she has reconciled with her mom.
“I’m happy to announce that my mother and I made up!” Jennifer shared alongside a family photo. “People with strong family values find their way back to each other, eventually-time heals all wounds!”
She continued, “We are in Turkey together enjoying our newest addition, John Brian, who seems to already be obsessed with his Aunt Jenn! I love you, Mommy, and I’m sorry that I hurt you. Let’s get this family back together!”
