Joe Giudice is one pissed of papa!
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey staple is slamming his former sister-in-law Melissa Gorga for waiting six months to defend Gia Giudice after Jackie Goldschneider dragged her into the season 11 drama.
During the season 11 premiere, Jackie offered up a damaging analogy to make Teresa Giudice understand how hurtful it can be to spread unconfirmed rumors about other people’s families. Jackie told Teresa gossiping about her husband Evan Goldschneider cheating without proof is the same as her telling people, “I heard Gia snorts coke in the bathroom at parties. I mean, I heard it! I don’t know where I heard it from…”
The RHONJ cast has publicly reacted to Jackie’s analogy about Gia, but for Joe, it’s too little too late from ex-sister-in-law Melissa.
“I think that it was terrible to bring in [Gia]. It’s one thing when we’re talking about us; it’s another thing when we bring kids in,” Melissa told Us Weekly earlier this week. “I never want to bring [up] a child — even if they’re 18, whatever, however old they are. I mean, I know Gia is 20 now. It doesn’t matter. All of our kids, to me, are always off-limits.”
Now, Joe is speaking out to Celebuzz, and he isn’t holding back!
“If you’ve ever spent time around a gaslighter, you know what they’re capable of. Gaslighters engage in the manipulation technique of distorting known facts,” he said in a statement.
“I don’t need an aunt to defend my daughter six months later!” Joe continued, “She should have known that it was a good time to talk when it happened! My family would have been on that lie when the incident happened. That’s what is true family is.”
“We don’t need auntie to step in six months later for a payday! She defended Jackie for using a crooked analogy,” he added.
Season 11 of RHONJ airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
